WARNING: THIS IS A GIANT/ESS DOUBLE MORPH STORY, with slight Muscle/Growth and Clothes Rippage.
If you are not into this please turn away, or not, but you have been warned!

“I… I won’t…” wheezed the scientist from between Takayu’s fingers. “I won’t allow all of this to be for nothing!” he called out, his voice a mere whimper to the two giants cuddled up before him as he reached into the pocket of his labcoat and pulled out a silver device with a large red button and jammed down on it with his thumb. Suddenly, the ground beneath the duo began to shake and the sound of something whirring as it started up filled their ears, becoming a fast paced whoosing as it kept going and going until the sound began cutting the sky.

“What the?” Takayu gasped as he took his exceptionally large arm from around the dark-haired girl. His head shot up as he soon realised what was going on. Looking around him, they were surrounded by military grade helicopters. Each one loaded with a turret or gattling gun on the front, each aimed at the giants.
“I’m getting bored of this!” the ginger haired boy called out. “Just what do you think you’re playing at?” Melfina followed up, the two clambering to their feet, both desperately hoping that the ground wasn’t going to crumble beneath them and swallow them up.

“This experiment has gone horribly wrong, and I must take responsibility. I must eliminate the evidence.”
“Eliminate?” bellowed Takayu, glaring at everything around him. “You won’t just be able to sweep this under the rug. You have two giant titans roaming you’re city. Somebody in the media will have seen us by now!”
“Heh! That is of no consequence to an organisation like us.” The scientist taunted. “Memory erasure, telling the public it was a stunt for a live action adaptation of some popular anime, alien invasion. It won’t matter. The media will be bought and paid for, and the public will swallow it up like the morons they are. However, the alien invasion angle will have those halfwits in Washington swarming around us like flies and vultures on a carcass. But that’s a problem for later.
“Grr, you son of a---“ Takayu roared but was cut off by the sound of gunfire. One of the choppers had fired a warning shot, Takayu raising his foot from the ground to avoid the bullet storm.
“Hahaha. Not so full of yourself now are y—Wh-whoa!” Takayu had decided to retaliate, carrying the lead scientist with him as he slammed his open palm into the front of the copter that had fired on him, quickly reaching out to grasp another and swing it by the tail and off into the distance, the pain not registering as the tail’s rotor blades cut into his palm.

“Takayu!” Melfina called out as another one took fire at the rampaging giant, the dark haired teen, rushing in with a leap and extended muscular leg to kick the chopper out of the sky, the pilot launching from the cockpit before the vehicle crashed and burnt, the area around them rumbling like a large scale earthquake as Melfina landed in a crouched position, grabbing a stretch of metal, not really sure if it was steel, iron or aluminium. It didn’t matter; it folded as easily as cardboard with the girl’s new found size and strength. What mattered though is that was there was enough to cover her modesty as she and the red head came back to back, focused on their new enemy.
“Thanks for the save.” Takayu said quickly. “Feels just like old times, huh?” he laughed, looking around as more choppers came to oppose them. Tanks now heading their way.
“Hmph, well, you’re not quite the invincible Banchou you once claimed to be, after all, Rustbucket.” Melfina quipped. “Somebody has to bail you out from time to time.”
“Banchou…” he mumbled. “It really has been too long.”
“Oi oi! Quit daydreaming!” Melfina scolded. “There’s another growth spurt coming. Or can’t you feel it?”
“Trust me. I’m really feeling it.” Takayu replied with a chuckle to himself. “But right now, I’ve got Clamato Fever and just wanna tear these guys apart!”

Before the two could move, the choppers to Melfina’s side began firing, Takayu immediately throwing himself in front of her and using his arms to shield himself. The bullets bouncing off of his increased muscle mass and barely making a dent in the young giant he before the smashed two of them together with a roar, watching them fall to the ground in a blazing defeat.
“Who’s next?!” he called, the tanks at their feet now launching heavier artillery, the shells actually hurting the redhead as he caught him in the lower stomach and upper legs. “Too close for comfort he muttered as he hurled his fist downward and onto the tank. Melfina too was caught in tank fire, though she had chipped one off of the ground and began to volley it like a soccer ball before launching it far and into the nearby river with a fierce kick. The duo then reaching to grab the remaining tanks and bend the cannons back and into the cockpits if not snapping them right off. The two rejoiced as the remaining opposing machines began to back off, but that’s when it happened.

The next growth spurt caused a howling as it felt like their flesh was being torn from the bone. Any wounds sustained seemed to grow disproportionately worse, and as Takayu grasped his stomach, he doubled over and onto both knees, the continuous growth putting him in a pain he had never felt before. Melfina was no better as she began to claw at her own skin, her body pulsing and getting hot with the growth spurt, feeling as if the expanding muscle was going to come through her skin and tear her apart. As Takayu howled, he dropped the scientist, who rolled to safety as he fell before tapping his earpiece.
“Let it loose!” he commanded. “The experiment has concluded. Extreme clean-up is needed.”
“But sir!” came a voice through the earpiece, but the scientist was having none of it.”
“Just do it!” he yelled. “Professor Kurata is not a patient man. I will not deliver failure.”
“Yes, sir!” the respondent said almost reluctantly, the lead scientist tapping his earpiece again to end the conversation as he then turned his attention back to the fallen giants.

“Well, my little guinea pigs. This has been fun. But just know that your efforts will have not been in vain. Right now, there are satellites recording everything that you both have been through since yesterday. We will be using your test results to move onto the next stage of our plans. But, as I said before. I need to clean up this mess. Your families and friends will have all memories of you exterminated. You in particular, Syaoran. We had to intercept all of your family before even beginning this project. As for you, Rose. You’re pretty much an orphan, so you made it particularly easy for us.”
“You bastards!” Takayu coughed and stammered, a rage building in him that he had not felt for some time. A powerful, destructive rage.
“Yes, yes.” the scientist chortled, mocking the two “Get it all out of your systems now, kids because this test is coming to a close in five… four…three… two… one…”
As the man has finished counting, a large missile appeared overhead. A heat seeking missile that locked onto the powerful heat signatures of the giants and was now hurtling towards Melfina.
“The greatest street fighters in the country. That’s what I was promised. Good luck fighting your way out of this, you no future delinquents!”
“N-No!” Takayu stammered. “Not like this! I won’t be brought down like this. Humiliated.
Not by you! Not like this! Not in front of Melfina!” Takayu growled and huffed as he pulled himself to his feet, the scientist gasping, stepping back in shock and peril as Takayu threw out his right fist with a large cry, the missile exploding as it was sent back into the air, a wave of energy flowing through him, a calming, light filled tingle that reached to every inch of his expanded, overly muscled body.

“But! But how!?” the scientist demanded to know. “You should be dead! Both of you! This is impossible!”
“You were wrong about us…” Melfina started. “We have a penchant you see…”
“Of pulling miracles from outta nowhere!” Takayu finished, turning and extending his hand to Melfina to help her up. The ice queen, prideful in her will to help herself was about to smack his hand away when she realised something. Her eyes had fallen on a sight she had never seen before, and one she hadn’t seen in what felt like eons.
“Takayu!” she said, looking off. “Your hand. Look at it!”
“My ha—“he started, but then his eyes widened as he realised what she was on about. “DigiSoul…” the red-head muttered. “Impossible! Then that would mean…”
“Just what fired that missile!?” Takayu demanded to know. The scientist pushing his glasses up on his nose.
“You really wanna know, huh?” he replied. “It seems like you’ve figured out that it wasn’t your average piece of artillery. Very well then; It won’t matter that much when we’re cutting you up, for science, and dumping you in an incinerator. What fired that missile was the latest in weaponised technology. My organisation has figured out a way to use stray and corrupted internet data to create physical, sentient life forms that will revolutionise not only Japan’s glorious technology strides but also facilitate it’s return to greatness across the world as a global superpower.”
Context:

My friend :iconleiyuna: loves writing/drawing Giant/ess stories, and during this past week has done a few projects using our old Digimon characters, Takayu Syaoran and Melfina Rose.
She wrote 3 parts to this story and then left it rather open ended, and then challenged me to finish it up to get me writing again.

I accepted and this is my effort.
This is also the reason it's in Scrapbook as it's not supposed to overtake her works, but just be an inspired continuation.
